Birth Doula Services

A Doula provides emotional and physical support during a woman’s pregnancy, at the time of birthing and in the immediate postpartum. Doulas make sure the woman gets all the information she needs to make birth choices that are right for her and her baby.

Having a baby is one of the most important things a woman will do in her lifetime. During the nine months of pregnancy, women often need someone to talk to that has knowledge and experience. Dr. Chris has studied Naturopathic Obstetrics, is a mother of two, a grandmother of 2 and specializes in Pediatrics. She has been supporting women during their pregnancy and birthing for many years and has been working with children and their families since 1974.

Whether you plan to birth at home or in the hospital or birth center, having a Doula to support you is one of the nicest things you can do for yourself. Dr. Chris has the medical background and a warm and caring heart--a perfect combination for a Doula. She will tailor her services to your needs.
